PunjabiTimes was founded in 2002 by Chef Arjun Singh with a simple mission: to bring the authentic flavors of Punjab and North India to food enthusiasts. What started as a small family-run restaurant has now grown into a beloved culinary destination.
Our journey began with Chef Arjun's passion for the rich culinary heritage he grew up with in Amritsar, Punjab. After years of training in prestigious kitchens across India, he decided to share his passion and expertise by opening PunjabiTimes.
Over two decades later, we continue to serve traditional recipes passed down through generations, prepared with the freshest ingredients and aromatic spices. Each dish tells a story of our cultural heritage and showcases the diverse flavors of Punjab and North India.

Chef Arjun Singh brings over 30 years of culinary expertise to PunjabiTimes. Born and raised in Amritsar, the culinary heart of Punjab, his passion for cooking began at an early age in his family's kitchen.
After training in the finest kitchens of Amritsar, Delhi, and Mumbai, Chef Arjun perfected the art of traditional Punjabi cooking while adding his own creative touch to classic recipes.
